Solar Pilot Project
Solar Faith Initiative

Greening Sacred Spaces (GSS) has launched a Solar Faith Initiative for faith communities in
- Raising awareness about solar within congregations
- Providing step-by-step information about how to go solar
- Providing a solar self-assessment tool to help faith communities determine if they are "solar ready"
- Support financing and case studies of implementation sites
Faith & the Common Good has developed a solar presentation called "Going Solar: How your faith community FITs in!" This presentation covers an overview of solar technology, financing options, incentives & rebates, information on the Ontario Green Energy Act, and the MicroFIT (Feed-In-Tarriff) program. The solar workshop is designed for a number of faith communities to come together to plan and discuss solar action in their region. If you are interested in having a session hosted in your community, contact Kristina Inrig at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
