ABOUT THE WORKSHOP -
All are welcome to an upcoming workshop, Ottawa’s New Green Bin Program – Helping Encourage Participation.
This inspirational workshop sponsored by Faith & the Common Good will be led by Rod Muir of Sierra Club Canada and will take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 7 pm at St. Joseph Parish.

The Green Bin Program has arrived in Ottawa. Separating food scraps and other organic materials for collection has immense environmental benefits for the land, the water and the air. It's important that we support sustainable lifestyles to protect the gifts of the earth not only for us, but also for future generations. Returning organic waste to the soil is an important part of stewardship of earth’s resources. This workshop is intended to motivate us and to find ways to encourage other members of our faith communities to full participation in this important endeavour.
